About the Role
As a Management Consultant (KYC/AML) within Accenture’s Digital Risk and Compliance (DRC) / Risk, Regulation & Compliance (RR&C) practice, you will support a leading global banking client in delivering high-quality, end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews.This role focuses on Source of Wealth (SoW) assessments and holistic customer due diligence, in line with MAS and HKMA regulatory expectations.
You will apply your subject matter expertise and analytical skills to ensure accurate, complete, and audit-ready KYC profiles for a broad range of banking customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle KYC due diligence for onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven updates
- Collect, validate, and analyze KYC documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Conduct Source of Wealth (SoW) corroboration and draft clear, coherent narratives
- Review customer transaction activity for alignment with declared profile and expected behavior
- Identify and escalate red flags, inconsistencies, or high-risk indicators
- Collaborate with internal teams and compliance stakeholders to resolve complex cases
- Maintain complete and well-organized case files for internal controls and audit readiness
- Support process improvement initiatives and help enhance quality standards
- Stay current with MAS and HKMA AML/CFT regulations and industry best practices
- Minimum 3 years of KYC/AML experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Proven expertise in Source of Wealth corroboration and narrative drafting
- Strong understanding of MAS and HKMA AML/CFT regulatory requirements
- Experience with holistic KYC reviews, risk rating assessments, and red flag identification
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple cases under tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Mandarin (required for reviewing Mandarin-language documents)
- Must be available to work onsite at client premises 100% of the time
- Experience in regulatory remediation or large-scale AML/KYC transformation projects
- Familiarity with different client segments such as high-net-worth individuals, corporates, or trusts
- Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills
- Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore
