We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Principal Engineer to join ST Engineering Training & Simulation Systems Pte. Ltd. Based at the Digital Hub; you will be an integral part of the team in Land Simulation (Manned/Unmanned) division.This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a junior leadership role that combines advanced engineering expertise with technical management in the simulation technology domain.
As the Assistant Principal Engineer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive the development, optimisation, and system integration of simulation systems tailored for land-based manned and unmanned platforms. Your role will be pivotal in supporting innovation, design verification, and continuous improvement of complex systems that meet stringent performance and safety standards.

As an Assistant Principal Engineer, you are required (but not limited) to:
- Lead and support engineering projects within the land simulation segment, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-fidelity simulation solutions that meet customer expectations across diverse operational scenarios.
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis and problem-solving to address challenges related to system integration, performance tuning, and system scalability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of engineering standards, best practices, and quality assurance protocols within the team.
- Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and support project delivery.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in simulation technologies and industry trends to inform product development strategies.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience in systems engineering and integration, simulation technologies, or defence-related projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team mentorship and technical management experience.
- Familiarity with both manned and unmanned systems and their operational challenges is advantageous.
- Proficiency with software development tools, SDLC and simulation platforms is desirable.
