Business Development Manager – 4PL & Supply Chain Solutions

The Opportunity

As we evolve from a traditional logistics service provider into a strategic 4PL Supply Chain Partner, we are looking for a visionary Business Development Manager to help lead this transformation.

This is not a transactional sales role. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design integrated, technology-driven supply chain solutions that deliver long-term value. You will play a key role in our 2–5-year digital transformation journey, expanding our regional network and enabling data-led visibility and control for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Market Intelligence
  • Conduct targeted market and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities within the 4PL, LLP, and integrated logistics space
  • Execute data-driven business development strategies that move the organization beyond traditional 3PL into high-margin advisory and orchestration roles
Consultative Client Acquisition
  • Engage C-suite and senior decision-makers, positioning our 4PL and control-tower capabilities as solutions to complex supply chain challenges
  • Build a high-quality client portfolio focused on long-term partnerships, sustainability, and regional network integration
Solution Design & Proposal Development
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Transformation teams to design bespoke end-to-end supply chain solutions, integrating technology, data visibility, and multimodal freight strategies
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), risk mitigation, and value creation
Commercial Excellence & Revenue Growth
  • Lead complex, high-value contract negotiations with a focus on value-based pricing, performance-linked KPIs, and long-term profitability
  • Drive account growth through strategic upselling of digital tools, control tower services, and regional expansion solutions
Operational Alignment & Industry Networking
  • Ensure a seamless handover from Sales to SOP and implementation, working closely with Operations and Transformation teams
  • Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen our regional partner and client ecosystem

The Profile

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of business development experience within 3PL, 4PL, LLP, or complex logistics environments
  • Proven track record managing long sales cycles, complex tenders, and high-value contract negotiations
Key Competencies
  • Strong consultative and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex logistics data into executive-level insights
  • High commercial acumen with experience in value-based and solution-led selling
  • Solid understanding of TMS, WMS, and Supply Chain Control Tower technologies
  • Established network and strong awareness of the regional logistics and supply chain ecosystem (highly advantageous)
