Assistant Engineer – Equipment / Machine (R&D) | Up to $3,200 | MNC | West

About the Role

We are hiring a hands-on Equipment Technician to support R&D activities in a semiconductor environment. This role focuses on machine setup, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance for prototype and engineering runs.

• Perform machine setup, adjustment, and changeover for engineering runs
• Support equipment troubleshooting, alarm handling, and recovery
• Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) and basic calibration
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities
• Work closely with engineers to support R&D trials and process improvements
• Maintain accurate logs for equipment status, maintenance, and runs
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom and safety standards

• NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical)
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in machine operation or equipment support
• Basic troubleshooting skills (mechanical / electrical)
• Experience in semiconductor or precision manufacturing preferred
• Comfortable working in cleanroom environment

• Strong exposure to advanced equipment and R&D environment
