Assistant Leasing Manager (Real Estate Asset Management Firm)

Role Overview

This role is responsible for executing asset management strategies across a commercial portfolio, with a strong focus on tenant engagement, occupancy optimization, and income growth. You will work closely with tenants and stakeholders to build long-term partnerships while enhancing overall asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement strategies to drive rental income and portfolio returns
• Maintain high occupancy through proactive leasing, renewals, and tenant replacement
• Negotiate competitive lease terms to optimise rental yield

• Build and manage strong relationships with tenants, ensuring compliance with lease terms
• Address tenant feedback, operational issues, and lease-related matters promptly
• Engage shareholders’ representatives and maintain alignment on portfolio objectives
• Collaborate with external consultants including legal, valuation, and real estate advisors
• Support networking and engagement initiatives with key stakeholders

• Manage end-to-end leasing processes from enquiries to deal closure and documentation
• Ensure smooth departmental workflows and information sharing, including market insights
• Maintain proper documentation and records management
• Work closely with facilities and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and positive tenant experience
• Partner with marketing teams to support branding and leasing efforts
• Assist in budgeting, including rental revenue, operating, and marketing expenses

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions, and support audit and compliance requirements

• Contribute as an active team member and support development of junior staff
• Participate in initiatives that strengthen team and organisational objectives

• 3–4 years of leasing experience managing Grade A or similar commercial properties
• Degree in Real Estate or related field
• Valid CEA salesperson licence
• Experience handling MNC or key corporate tenants is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus
