Job Scopes:

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned clients and strategically growing the business by identifying new opportunities. Working within an IT/System Integrator environment, the Account Manager collaborates closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements across infrastructure, software, cloud, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Understand clients' IT needs and pain points to propose relevant solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts or target segments.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to stay informed and competitive.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures.
  • Ensure timely delivery and implementation of sold solutions by coordinating with project and technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Provide post-sales support and account management to ensure client retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the IT/system integration -industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software licensing, and managed services.
  • Able to communicate in English & Mandarin (this is a must need to handle enquiries from Chinese speaking clients).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver against KPIs.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferably Singaporean or Permanent Resident

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with (Cisco, Fortinet, PABX, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ITIL or project management methodologies is a plus.
