Job Scopes:
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned clients and strategically growing the business by identifying new opportunities. Working within an IT/System Integrator environment, the Account Manager collaborates closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements across infrastructure, software, cloud, and managed services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Understand clients' IT needs and pain points to propose relevant solutions and services.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts or target segments.
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to stay informed and competitive.
- Facilitate contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures.
- Ensure timely delivery and implementation of sold solutions by coordinating with project and technical teams.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide post-sales support and account management to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the IT/system integration -industry.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software licensing, and managed services.
- Able to communicate in English & Mandarin (this is a must need to handle enquiries from Chinese speaking clients).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver against KPIs.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferably Singaporean or Permanent Resident
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with (Cisco, Fortinet, PABX, etc.).
- Knowledge of ITIL or project management methodologies is a plus.
