About the role

We are seeking passionate Commis Cooks to join our dynamic team at Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society Ltd in various outlet such as Hougang Ave 8/ 14 Buangkok Green/ 301 Henderson Road. As a Commis Cook 1/2/3, you will play a key role in our kitchen, contributing to the creation of delicious and high-quality meals for our customers.

This is a full-time position located in the North-East region.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the senior chefs in the preparation, cooking and presentation of a wide range of dishes.
Maintaining a clean and organized work station, ensuring compliance with food safety and health

regulations.

Collaborating with the culinary team to continuously improve kitchen processes and menu offerings.
Providing excellent customer service and responding to any special requests.
To assist others on chopping, cutting, packing and learning dishes from other chefs.
Helping with deliveries and restocking.
Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
Cooking and preparing all raw and cook materials.
Inform chef of any excess food items or product for use in daily production.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Commis Cook in a busy hospitality or restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen,
Passion for delivering exceptional food and customer service.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Good cooking skills in Chinese and Local Cuisine.
Able to work on flexi-shift, Public holidays and on roster.
