We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Back-End Developer to build, maintain, and optimise server-side applications, databases, and integrations that power our internal systems and client websites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and databases.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with back-end systems.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
- Manage data storage solutions and implement best practices for database optimisation.
- Troubleshoot and debug back-end issues, implementing fixes promptly.
- Maintain documentation for code, APIs, and systems.
- Stay up to date with emerging back-end technologies, frameworks, and security practices.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in back-end development.
- Proficiency in server-side languages like PHP, Python, or Node.js, and frameworks such as Laravel, Django, or Express.
- Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of security principles and data protection best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Work on diverse and technically challenging projects for multiple industries.
