Senior Executive, Financial Controlling

Responsibilities:

  • Support coordination with local Finance teams to ensure alignment with Group financial reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Assist in analysing operational performance, cost control, working capital, asset utilisation and cash flow management.
  • Review monthly financial submissions from subsidiaries and follow up on variances or issues identified.
  • Assist in providing financial and operational insights to support business decision-making.
  • Participate in audit processes, including supporting impairment assessments (SFRS 36) and biological assets valuation (SFRS 41).
  • Support budgeting exercises and KPI tracking across subsidiaries.
  • Assist in identifying and monitoring key financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Group financial policies and internal controls.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc assignments and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accountancy/Banking, ACCA or equivalent.
  • CPA / CIMA candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing, commodities or agriculture industries.
  • Proficient bilingual written and verbal communication skills as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. Able to communication in French will be an advantage as we do require to work with Africa stakeholders.
  • Good business partnering mindset and strategic insights
  • Experienced with complex group business structure and financial model.
  • Capable to drive business processes and control.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong knowledge in accounting, costing, taxation and internal control.
  • High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Influencing skills and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in partnering with Executive team is expected.
  • Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department/company harmony.
  • Open to overseas travels.
