Toa Payoh - Account Executive

About the role

Based in the Lavender Central Region, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the continued success of the business.

1. Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
2. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
3. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
4. Provide support to the finance team in the completion of monthly and annual accounting and reporting tasks
5. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
6. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as auditors and tax authorities
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
2. At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the retail or jewellery industry
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping
4. Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
