HVAC Commissioning Engineer - Toa Payoh

We are looking for a highly experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer with strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer background in HVAC systems for offshore applications. The selected candidate will lead the full commissioning lifecycle for automated systems integrating PLCs (Rockwell/Allen Bradley) on FPSOs, offshore platforms, and naval vessels, as well as the supervision of the air and hydraulic balancing of the installations.

HVAC Commissioning Engineer

Your missions:

• Develop and validate HVAC commissioning procedures, including Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) integration, air and hydraulic balancing.
• Program, test, and debug Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs using RS Logix.
• Coordinate and execute functional testing for offshore HVAC equipment (MCCs, VSDs, HMI systems).
• Supervise instrumentation testing: flow meters, temperature sensors, actuators, valves, and pressure transmitters.
• Analyze and troubleshoot control diagrams, cable schedules, and Modbus/Ethernet network communications.
• Act as the technical interface between site teams, engineering office, and clients.
• Coordinate and support commissioning technicians (internal or subcontracted) on each site (Singapore and Overseas)
• Participate in meetings with the client, particularly on aspects related to planning and technical issues.
• Manage the commissioning resource mobilization schedule (internal and subcontracted)
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, performance metrics, and system observations.
• Maintain and update system documentation, including operation and maintenance manual, tests certificates, and inspection records
• Provide leadership during project close out and the transition to operational phases.
• Participating at the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) in our vendor factory

The Talent :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Electrical and Electronics or in Electrica and, Instrumentation.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on commissioning experience in offshore HVAC systems
• Minimum of 6 years of experience on FPSO projects.
• Proven expertise in Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC systems and RS Logix programming.
• Strong background in project coordination and international client interaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and manage relationships across multiple departments.
