Business Development Manager (Project Logistics)

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across shipping, project logistics, and offshore segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, traders, and logistics partners
- Promote the company’s service offerings, including freight solutions, project cargo, and end-to-end logistics services
- Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and client engagement to proposal submission and deal closure
- Work closely with operations and technical teams to develop tailored logistics and transport solutions
- Monitor market trends, trade flows, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with client requirements
- Maintain and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and business development activities
- Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, commercial, or sales roles within shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics
- Strong network within the maritime, oil & gas, or project cargo sectors is advantageous
- Proven track record in generating new business and achieving revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Willingness to travel as required
