Director and Head of Business Operations (Waste Management) - Woodlands

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in partnering with the CEO and leadership to define business priorities and track progress against strategic goals.
• Oversee P&L ownership and overall business performance of the business segment.
• Oversee the planning and execution of annual business segment budget.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive commercial growth, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Drive a stakeholder or customer-centric culture that enhances brand reputation and service delivery.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, guiding the development of business cases for leadership approval.
• Oversee the preparation of executive-level materials for board meetings, management reporting, sales reviews, and strategic updates
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, financial discipline, and local regulatory compliance.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in business operations or strategy.
• Proven ability to lead teams in optimising processes and delivering pipeline forecasting.
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams while influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in dealing with relevant authority.
• Track record of building and scaling operational teams in high-growth environments
