Geylang - Operations Officer (Fund Accountant/ Hedge Fund)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Officer to join our team. This incumbent will support Fund Managers and oversee the day-to-day back-office operations of various funds

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for allocated Fund Managers
• Manage daily back-office operations, including:

• Assist with fund financial audits, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Handle ad-hoc responsibilities, such as:
• KYC refreshers by counterparties
• Preparing board resolutions
• Supporting fund and brokerage account openings
• Maintain a comprehensive log of all tasks and activities
• Develop and implement short- and long-term operational goals
• Maintain clear communication with the Team Leader and Management on daily activities and escalations.
• Execute decisions and directives issued by the Team Leader and Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in hedge fund or fund accounting/middle-back office operations
• Strong understanding of the asset management and hedge fund industry is essential
• Working knowledge of Broadridge Paladyne Portfolio Management System is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks including

• Knowledge of private equity fund operations is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing projects independently
• Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
