Manufacturing Technician (Cleanroom/Shift/Kallang)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to support production operations and ensure high-quality output in a cleanroom environment. This role involves working closely with engineers to set up, monitor, and improve manufacturing processes while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

• Perform manufacturing operations including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing for components, sub-assemblies, and final products
• Use relevant systems or software tools to collect and monitor production data, supporting process adjustments where required
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve manufacturing methods and procedures
• Support process trials, experiments, and implementation of improvement initiatives
• Identify production issues and escalate abnormalities for timely resolution
• Contribute to improving production yield, reducing scrap, and enhancing product quality
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and team-based activities
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization standards (e.g. 6S practices)
• Comply with all safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols

• Relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, or electronics environment is preferred
• Candidates with technical education (e.g. NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent) are welcome to apply
• Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in manufacturing are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and following strict procedures
• Able to handle chemical solutions safely in accordance with guidelines
• Basic hands-on experience in assembly, soldering, or equipment operation is an advantage
• Willing to perform shift work when required
• Good teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail
