Technical Sales Manager

Our client is a well-established international chemical manufacturer. They are looking for Technical Sales Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for managing various customers and agents with primary market focus in South Asia. The key responsibility is to align to the marketing and sales strategy of the organisation.

• Work with senior manager to plan and carry out sales strategies for different customers
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, distributors, and agents
• Study the market, collect information, and adjust business plans to meet customer needs
• Explain the value of products and services to balance cost and benefits
• Plan and manage projects to meet goals or market demands
• Prepare yearly budgets and execution plans for assigned customers
• Handle sales contracts and follow legal requirements
• Set up credit terms and work with finance teams to secure credit limits
• Work with other departments to resolve sales issues and improve efficiency
• Keep customers updated on orders, deliveries, and related information
• Help with collecting payments and ensure customers pay on time

• Degree in Science, preferably in a chemical-related field
• Min 10 years of experience in sales management, including 5 years managing key customer accounts
• A strong record of success, ideally in a multinational or trading company
• Good understanding of how businesses operate and its profitability
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting in business
• Familiar with import, export, and general trading practices
• Able to plan and carry out business and sales strategies
• Experienced in trading operations, sales, and marketing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with internal teams and external partners
