About FSP - Food Service Premium
Food Service Premium is the mother organization under which Valrhona has regrouped itself along with its recent acquisitions. The organization aims to provide the “essential premium pastry ingredients to Food Service Professionals (pastry chefs, bakers, restaurants, hotels and caterers) throughout the world”, but also to consolidate our market share across categories and markets.The FSP Brands are Valrhona, Republica Del Cacao, Weiss, Sosa (Professional Ingredients such as Texturizers, Dried fruits, crispies, etc…), Chocolatree (Decors), Norohy (Vanilla), Adamance (Fruits puree) and Pariani.
Your Mission: The Junior Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for representing Valrhona & the New Brands portfolio through organization events, and development of projects. He / She will assist the Country Manager in seeding the Varhona Selection Brands portfolio, in the aspects of identifying new opportunities, ensuring brand visibility and activation during main events and in targeted influential outlets through building strong relationship with chefs, outlet owners, advocates/influencers.
Your Team: You will report to the Country Manager, Valrhona Selection and be part of a multi-functional regional office based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
- Co-creation of pastry planning/activities with Country Manager, including but not limited to drafting of STD/invitations and liaising with distributors; brand development for Singapore market; props and marketing collaterals; event preparation and presentation displays; Instagram content creation
- Co-creation of seasonal projects development with Country Manager and chefs, including but not limited to communication plans, packaging/box conception with agency; promotion/brand collaterals for afternoon teas etc.
- Proposal & organization of events for Cercle V (Loyalty Program) customers and to work closely with regional marketing team. Communicate & liaise with customers for renewals, onboarding and gifting packages, while ensuring follow-up with distributors.
- Organization of annual events with regional marketing team, Chefs & BD HK, such as ASIA 50/F1/trade shows (FHA) etc. To propose, organize and coordinate with agencies or local partners on materials for events, clients gifting etc.
- Market Analysis feedback to Country Manger on: Competition pricing, trends, market needs or any relevant info to be shared for the Yearly Market Review & Business Reviews. Presence in monthly meetings with distributors when needed. Inputs for Annual Marketing Plan for SG.
- Map updates for all products launches on a regular basis while tracking KPIs and reporting of marketing activation. Monthly analysis & evaluation of the development of the New Brands. Monitor competitor activity and provide timely reporting. Be the eye and the ear of the market!
- Content creation for communication/Instagram with 1 theme every quarter of the year; including but not limited to chef demo vidoes and events photos, homebaking/retail actions in collaboration with Digital Manager APAC; identify media/KOL and points of contact.
Our Ideal Profile and Role Requirements:
- Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent
- Highly mobile and engaged, the work requires good degree of customer engagement.
- Must be highly detail oriented, proactive, strong follow through and ability to multi-task
- Fluent in English, French or any additional language would be a plus
- Food enthusiast, strong passion for the gastronomy and food industry
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
This role starts as a 1-year contract role.
