What you'll be doing?- Develop sales strategies: Initiate and implement plans to acquire new clients and grow the business in contract/project financing, pre and post factoring.
- Source new leads: Actively identify and generate quality leads for Relationship Officers to prospect.
- Drive revenue growth: Work towards achieving sales targets and contributing to overall business expansion.
- Guide team members: Provide support to Relationship Managers in cold calling and managing leads from referral agents.
- Assess client needs: Meet with potential prospects to understand their requirements and develop suitable financing solutions.
- Perform credit assessments: Evaluate client applications to ensure they meet basic credit requirements and comply with business processes.
- Prepare credit memos: Draft and submit well-written credit memos on proposed financing solutions for approval by the credit committee and management.
- Manage client portfolio: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other teams: Work closely with operations and accounts teams to ensure timely fund disbursement to clients.
- Network effectively: Build strong relationships with referral agents and business associations to generate meaningful leads for the company.
- Financial industry experience: At least 5 years of experience working in a financial institution or similar role in the lending industry.
- Sales and marketing background: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a related field.
- Specialized knowledge: Experience in project/contract financing, trade financing, invoice receivables financing, and factoring is highly valued but not mandatory.
- Credit evaluation skills: Strong ability to perform credit evaluations and financial analysis.
- Leadership qualities: Highly motivated with a dynamic personality, capable of guiding and leading a team effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities: Demonstrate maturity and confidence in handling challenging situations.
- Independent worker: Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Business acumen: Possess excellent networking skills and a strong understanding of business dynamics.
