Audio and video equipment technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our AV team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and technical expertise in audio-visual systems, ensuring successful project delivery from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage AV projects from initial planning through to execution and delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to develop accurate project scopes and implementation plans.
• Design and configure AV systems, including audio, video, and control systems, tailored to client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of AV systems into existing infrastructure.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all phases of the project.
• Provide technical support and training to clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction and usability of AV systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, AV Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project engineering/management, specifically within the AV industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual systems , installation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in project management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
• Good soldering skill on audio & video connectivity
