About the role
Our client, a prestigious investment bank is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join their first-rate team. The role is multi-year ongoing and there is a possibility to convert to FTE over time.
What you'll be doing- Running regional VDI Desktop builds refresh and migration projects
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies, proactively communicating and resolving challenges
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables and outcomes meet or exceed quality and performance standards
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimizations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT infrastructure project manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Experienced with large scale (1000's of users) VDI Desktop build and refresh projects across the region
- Extensive banking industry experience
- Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT infrastructure projects, i
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and best practices
- Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
