Senior / Patient Service Associate (TC), Emergency Dept Ops (1 yr contract)

Job Description

• Monitor and manage admitted patients whose inpatient beds have been cleaned and ready for occupation.
• Liaise with Portering services and Nursing for the transfers of inpatients from ED to their respective wards.
• Perform data entry and reporting for patient transfer KPI.
• Support Bed Management Unit to ensure beds are efficiently assigned, including expediting patient’s discharge process, as well as managing other ad-hoc bed management related queries.
• Assist ED Ops PSAs at Transit Place to consolidate meal orders for patients waiting for beds in the ED and coordinating with Food Services to place meal orders.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline
• 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
• Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Good at multi-tasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Working Schedule:

• Office Hours, 8.30am – 6pm (Mon – Thurs) / 8.30am – 5.30pm (Fri)
