Day 2 Application Support Engineer (Shift-Based) | Singaporean Only

• Remuneration: Base up to $6,000 + Annual Variable Bonus + Allowances
• Contract: 1-Year under TG payroll, convertible to client’s headcount based on performance (Long-term project)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support deployed applications to ensure smooth and reliable day-to-day operations.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting for application issues including software bugs, configuration errors, and integration problems.
• Analyze and resolve real-time production issues involving performance, stability, and connectivity.
• Tune application configurations for optimal performance and ensure compatibility across environments.
• Investigate and resolve system integration issues with internal or third-party platforms.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and continuous improvements.
• Document known issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in shift rotations and provide 24/7 standby support when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Min 2 to 5 years of experience in application support, production operations, or software troubleshooting.
• Proficient in debugging Node.js and React-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as:
• Kafka, MQTT, Keycloak
• Microservices architecture
• Docker, Kubernetes, Podman
• MongoDB, IBM MQ
• Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, structured approach to incident resolution.
• Open to working in rotating shifts, including night/weekend coverage, and participating in on-call duties.
