Senior Manager, Billing (Patient Financial Services)
The job responsibilities of a senior manager include the following:
Lead and develop a team of staff from Inpatient billing section to provide optimal billing support to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide timely analysis and accurate reporting to Senior Management, SHS and Audit Committee. Ensure billing practises are in compliance with prevailing standards and implement workflow changes to adopt new ministry standard. Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures with appropriate internal controls and measures to safeguard the hospital’s interests and assets and to satisfy statutory requirements.
Support Head of Department in developing and achieving goals related to Department. The Senior Manager is responsible for the overall achievement of Inpatient billing and relevant Department KPIs. Review performance indicators and work processes and adopt best practices.Perform insightful analysis to make operational and strategic business decisions to streamline and improve internal work processes to drive sustainable growth in Patient Financial Services.
Plan and collaborate with relevant departments on staff development, encourage continuous professional development for all staff to achieve a high standard of service delivery and career development.
Partner and collaborate with various key stakeholders within and across healthcare clusters to develop and build new cluster system for the future workflow models/operations that is in line with the national healthcare cluster goals and aspirations.Actively participate in engagements to identify present-day pain point and contribute insights to innovate and create the to-be workflow and solution.
Job Requirements:
- 10 years’ relevant experience
- Possess strong analytical, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, results-oriented and focused on the service excellence.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
