Business and Data Analyst
The Business and Data Analyst is a specialised function tasked with developing a comprehensive data strategy initiative that will enhance Rajah & Tann’s business analytics and therefore enhance strategic decision-making capabilities.
Based in Singapore, the candidate will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with all critical functions of Rajah & Tann – Practice Operations, Business Development, Marketing & Communications, Knowledge Management, Human Resources, Finance, Administration, Risk Management, Information Systems and Information Security.
Responsibilities:
His/her primary responsibility will be to conduct a comprehensive analysis of data structures across Rajah & Tann’s core legal practice management systems to establish a unified data architecture that enables high-quality executive reporting.By understanding the current internal data landscape, the candidate will be expected to transform how management receives accurate, real-time reporting and analytics, and in time be empowered to make evidence-based decisions and planning in areas of financial performance, client revenue and relationship analysis, BD opportunities, timekeeper resource utilisation, billing management, learning and development, matter profitability, pricing, budgeting, and cost management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data architecture in a legal firm.
- Strong understanding of legal practice management systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
