Fire Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety plans in full compliance with Singapore’s fire safety regulations.
• Conduct regular fire safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Organize and lead fire drills, evacuation exercises, and fire safety training sessions for staff and building occupants.
• Liaise with SCDF and other relevant authorities for fire safety certifications, renewals, and inspections.
• Ensure all fire protection systems (e.g., alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers) are properly maintained and fully operational.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including fire safety certificates, inspection records, and emergency plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance during emergency situations, including managing safe evacuation procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Facilities Management from a locally recognised polytechnic.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fire safety or facilities management.
• Possess a valid Fire Safety Manager Certificate (from 17th batch onwards – includes industrial FSM) or a Certificate in Fire Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a certified Fire Safety Manager.
• Strong knowledge of SCDF regulations, fire codes, and emergency response procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills, especially in handling emergency situations.
