Jurong West - International Logistics Coordinator (Singapore–Mexico)

Location:

• Based in Singapore
• Frequent travel to Mexico (and possibly other Latin American locations)

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and has a strong understanding of logistics or supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup of company operations in Mexico, including warehouse, transport, and distribution arrangements.
• Act as a liaison between Singapore HQ and Mexico-based partners, vendors, and authorities.
• Translate and interpret during meetings, negotiations, and official documentation (Spanish ↔ English).
• Coordinate legal, customs, and regulatory requirements for company incorporation and logistics operations in Mexico.
• Work closely with internal teams (finance, legal, supply chain) and external service providers (lawyers, freight agents, customs brokers).
• Support sourcing, onboarding, and managing local vendors and logistics service providers.
• Prepare and maintain cross-border shipping documentation and compliance records.
• Travel regularly between Singapore and Mexico to support operational setup and ongoing coordination.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Based in Singapore or eligible to work in Singapore.
• Willing and able to travel frequently to Mexico.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related fields is a plus.
• 2+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or international operations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Familiarity with international trade terms (INCOTERMS), customs procedures, and freight documentation is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Latin American markets (especially Mexico).
• Background in company setup or market entry support.
• Previous work in a bilingual coordination role.
