Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our fast-growing food distribution company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.This role is critical in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring sound financial practices in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations including accounting, cash flow management, and financial controls.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s statutory requirements (IRAS, ACRA, GST, etc.).
- Lead the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and profitability.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other external parties.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management policies.
- Supervise and guide the finance team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Support strategic planning, business development initiatives, and investment analysis.
- Assist in pricing strategies and margin analysis specific to the food distribution business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Prior experience in FMCG, food distribution, or logistics industries is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax regulations, and corporate compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
