Sales Director
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to drive revenue growth across Finmo’s key markets and customer segments. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, closing high-value deals, and executing against defined go-to-market priorities.
Working closely with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships, you will translate Finmo’s treasury and payments capabilities into compelling customer solutions. You will engage directly with CFOs, finance teams, and founders, managing end-to-end sales cycles in a fast-paced fintech environment.
In addition to individual contribution, you may provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their development through coaching and leading by example.
This role is suited for a commercially driven individual who is hands-on, results-oriented, and focused on delivering consistent revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Pipeline Generation & Market Execution
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline within assigned markets, segments, or territories
- Execute outbound and inbound sales activities to generate qualified opportunities
- Develop new business opportunities within defined target segments
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs and competitive landscape to support effective selling
- Deal Execution & Revenue Delivery
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders including CFOs and finance leaders
- Lead solution discussions, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets and sales quotas
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Understand customer pain points and position Finmo’s solutions effectively
- Drive customer confidence through clear and value-based communication
- Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation and campaign execution
- Work closely with Product teams to relay customer feedback and market insights
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer experience
- Execute in alignment with defined go-to-market strategy and sales priorities
- Partnerships & Channel Support
- Support partnership initiatives by engaging with referral and ecosystem partners
- Leverage partnerships to expand pipeline and accelerate deal flow
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on partnership-driven opportunities
- Sales Execution & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Track key performance metrics such as conversion rates, deal cycles, and pipeline coverage
- Continuously refine sales approach based on performance data and feedback
- Ensure disciplined use of CRM and sales tools
- Solid experience in B2B sales or commercial roles, typically 8+ years
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in fintech, payments, SaaS, or related industries
- Strong experience managing end-to-end sales cycles, including complex or enterprise deals
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as CFOs, finance teams, or business decision-makers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Commercially driven with a hands-on and results-oriented mindset
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Experience in treasury management, payments, financial infrastructure, or related domains
- Familiarity with regulated environments such as fintech, payments, or banking
- Experience in regional or multi-market sales environments
- Exposure to partnership or channel-led sales models
- Experience working in global or distributed teams
- Achievement of assigned revenue targets and sales quotas
