Lab Technician - Bukit Batok

About the role

Santoku BASF Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lab Technician to join our team in the Tuas West Region. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our world-class laboratory operations.

• QC & QA functions of process, product and analytical results;
• Routine analysis of raw material, product, process samples including external

• Perform tests and in-house validations in accordance with established methods;
• Ensure records and checklists are completed in accordance to procedures;
• Ensure data generated and uploaded are accurate and correct;
• Review data quality in accordance with established guidelines/criteria;
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment;
• Perform prompt housekeeping and upkeep of work area;
• Inventory control of chemicals and consumable materials;
• Perform quality documentation and data management to ensure compliance to

relevant standards; - Assistant to superiors in QC, QA functions and projects

• Diploma such as chemistry or related fields of study.
• Minimum 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and software
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new techniques and technologies as the industry evolves
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
