We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Non- Financial Risk, GFC.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk.
This is a Vice President level position within Global Financial Crimes.Morgan Stanley's GFC team is charged with day-to-day oversight and coordination of the AML, economic sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-tax evasion, and political activity obligations program covering the Firm's businesses globally.

What you'll do in the role: 1.
Oversee the GFC PWM Client Risk Unit (CRU) and serve as point of escalation in Singapore on matters related to review of higher risk clients during onboarding, periodic review and trigger events.- Manage, develop and coach the CRU team to enhance their subject matter expertise in support of the Firm's GFC program.
- Advise on transactional due diligence with respect to clients, counterparties, co-investors, and target companies or assets and provide guidance to the business on due diligence requirements.
- Supervise KYC and client due diligence processes including assessing the financial crime risk associated with potential and existing high-risk clients via the EDD process.
- Draft, revise and execute on policies and procedures.
- Develop content and deliver training to the business units, Risk, Operations and other functions.
- Monitor regulatory developments and new rules or requirements.
- Assist with responding to regulatory exams and other inquiries and internal audits, including overseeing document production.
What you'll bring to the role: > Bachelor's degree.
> At least 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Crimes Compliance preferably relating to private wealth business in the banking sector.> Strong working knowledge of Singapore's AML/CFT and sanctions laws and regulations.
> Experience in managing a team and working with overseas counterparts.
> Strong oral and written communication skills.
> Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
> Certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML certification/license- or certification within first 15 months of employment.
