About the role

This position requires strong analytical skills, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle full-spectrum financial and management reporting functions, tax and GST reporting and business analysis, including cash flow forecasting
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure financial integrity
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders
• Monitor daily sales revenue and perform monthly verification to ensure accurate journal postings
• Review and validate accounting entries, including accounts payable invoices, journals, payment vouchers, and receipts
• Maintain fixed asset registers, including depreciation, asset tracking, disposals, and annual verification
• Assist with internal and external audits, including year-end financial audits
• Participate in outlet cash audits and operational audits, including rice processing activities

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas)
• Familiarity with POS systems and SAP accounting systems
• Good knowledge of IFRS and/or local FRS within the SEA region
• Strong understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance (GST and Corporate Tax)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Meticulous, responsible, proactive, and a strong team player
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin required to liaise with overseas stakeholders and use internal systems.
