R & D Director

The R & D Head will lead an international team of scientists and laboratory engineers to drive chemistry and material development for the semiconductor / electronics industry

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to deliver innovative semiconductor materials and products.
• Develop and execute strategic R&D plans that align with organizational goals and drive business growth.
• Oversee and direct all research and development activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform research priorities and maintain competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, process, engineering, and manufacturing to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and scale-up activities.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with technology institutions, strategic suppliers, and customers to advance materials project development.
• Represent the company at technology seminars, trade shows, and industry events to enhance knowledge exchange and business networking.

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing R&D initiatives and leading material development projects in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver R&D solutions.
• Strong technical expertise in semiconductor materials and technologies.
• Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Leadership capability to motivate and develop a high-performing R&D team.
