About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Singapore on a full-time basis. A person with ecommerce, express background or Air Freight Key account experience. The focus is identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing innovative solutions tailored to ecommerce , express or courier client needs.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing SkyNet Worldwide Express SG Ltd as the preferred logistics partner in Singapore. Your success will directly impact the company's growth trajectory and market position within the competitive logistics industry.

Key responsibilities
  1. Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within the Singapore and South East Asia region, developing and implementing targeted strategies to expand the customer base
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their logistics needs and presenting tailored solutions that add value
  3. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to senior stakeholders, articulating the benefits and competitive advantages of SkyNet's services
  4. Negotiate commercial terms and service level agreements with clients, ensuring profitability whilst maintaining client satisfaction
  5. Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer service and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support
  6. Set and achieve challenging sales targets and key performance indicators, maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  7. Support the development and implementation of business development strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectives
  8. Manage Key account relationships with existing clients
What we're looking for
  1. Proven track record of success in business development, sales or account management within the express , courier or parcel delivery business
  2. Experience in selling international crossborder ecommerce solutions in Singapore market
  3. Knowledge of Singapore and South East Asia market for ecommerce , express or cross border parcels and logistics process.
  4. Knowledge of ecommerce brands , online marketplaces in the region and existing contacts.
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop viable business strategies to capitalise on them
  6. Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional team
  7. language skills such as Mandarin will be an advantage to deal with Chinese clients
