Account Executive - Sembawang
About the role
Join VIRGO PACIFIC PTE. LTD.' as an Account Executive and play a pivotal role in supporting the Accounting team. This is a full-time position based in the Sungei Kadut North Region. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of bookkeeping and small practice accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company.
What you'll be doing- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Provide support to the Accounting team in ad-hoc projects and tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Singapore's accounting and tax regulations is preferred
