About the Role
TLK Events & Lighting is looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Marketing Intern / Content Creator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through short-form videos and understands what captures attention on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
You’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence by creating fun, trendy, and engaging content that showcases the vibrant atmosphere of our events — from food highlights to crowd energy and unforgettable vibes.

Success in this role means consistently producing engaging short-form videos, staying ahead of social media trends, and helping grow our brand presence across TikTok and Instagram. You’ll be someone who can turn everyday event moments into scroll-stopping content.
How This Role Fits In
This position supports TLK Events’ marketing and brand-building efforts. You’ll work closely with the team while having the autonomy to plan, create, and execute creative ideas that bring our events to life online.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support daily social media activities across TikTok and Instagram
- Create engaging Reels and TikTok videos aligned with our brand identity
- Stay updated on social media trends and propose fresh content ideas
- Write simple scripts and independently plan content
- Film on-site at Pasar Malams, bazaars, and food fairs when required
- Edit and deliver ready-to-post short-form videos
- Engage with online audiences to build brand awareness
- Provide voiceovers and appear on camera when needed
- Strong interest in social media content creation and short-form video trends
- Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging audiences
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Interest in events, festivals, or the food fair industry is a bonus
- Familiarity with social media analytics is an advantage
