Trade Compliance Officer

Our client in the precision measuring instruments industry is hiring for a trade compliance officer.

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess transactions, classify products based on export control policies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HQ to update policies and equipment information in the company's database.
• Manage record-keeping for the Trade Control department and screen end-users before shipment or quotation.
• Provide training on export compliance and customs-related matters and handle any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A good understanding of Japanese export/ custom policies
• Min 3 years of experience in either product classifications, customs regulations or Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act
• Min Diploma holder
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
