Depot Manager

Functions:

• Fulfill job responsibilities as a Technical Representative of the Clinical Trials Supply Chain Service in its country.
• Ensure that the quality and integrity of all the processes in relation to Clinical Trials Supply Chain Service Division are properly accomplished.
• Ensure that all the processes proposed by the Customer and all WC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in accordance with the actions taken and procedures followed at the Depot.
• Manage Regulatory affairs and/or any other personnel involved in order to fulfill these responsibilities.

Reports To:

• WC Country Manager
• Global Depot Management- Principal Pharmacist
• Project Manager Coordinator

Directly Supervises:

• Depot Project Manager.

(In case of DPM absence, the Depot General Manager will supervise all Depot Personnel)

Works Closely with:

External relationship:

• Sponsors, Customers, CROs, Laboratories, Packaging Companies, Pharmaceutical Industries, Clinical Investigators, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, which contain all the specific instructions to perform the Facility daily activities.
• Fulfill all the requirements stated in the Protocols Depot Work Instructions established by WC and Customers/ Sponsors following the WC SOPs guidelines.
• Maintain and assure compliance with current ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP and FDA Good Clinical Practices, local regulatory affairs, legal requirements and World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (or any other as required).
• Be familiar with all the Protocols handled at the Depot in order to provide instructions and be a reference for all Depot Staff.
• Perform follow-up, identification and find out a solution for any Customer's remark that may appear during the Protocol's Life.
• To coordinate with the Depot Project Manager the interaction with WC Customers in order to solve any kind of problem that may arise.
• Have deep knowledge about WC Depot installations in addition to the different equipment’s located there.
• It may be required to make recommendations regarding an expansion that the Depot could need in direct relation to the amount of work that can be managed.
• Identify and solve together with the Depot Project Manager possible problems arising from Personnel management that may be against working schedule.
• Evaluate Personnel daily performance in order to analyze a career development for them.
• Participate together with the Depot Project Manager in the internal Audits performed by WC Quality Assurance Department providing all the requested information during the process.
• To take care together with the QA Specialist of attending Customers Audits at the Depot.
• To handle all the Depot Project Manager activities and responsibilities in case of absence.
• To deal with the local regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with other Company departments in order to make reports and gather all sort of information received in a timely manner.

Skills:

• Degree in Biological Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology, etc).
• Full command of English: written and oral skills.
• Experience in Pharmacy Management and/or CROs Logistics and Clinical Trials Monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal relationships.
• Be able to take initiatives and responsibilities.
• Leadership and previous experience to conduct a team.
• Be open-minded.
• Computer skills.
