Senior Executive, Finance Operations - (Maternity Cover)
The Company
Our client, a leading FSI company is seeking a skilled Senior Executive, Finance Operations (Disbursement) on a 10 month maternity cover contract.
This role supports critical finance operations functions, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement processing while maintaining strong financial governance and controls. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and business stakeholders and contribute to both daily operations and ongoing process improvements.
The Role- Manage daily disbursement activities to ensure payments, including commissions and operational payouts, are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Perform validation checks on payment entries to ensure correct allocation to financial accounts, cost centres, and internal reporting structures.
- Support month end finance activities through preparation of GST reconciliations and related schedules.
- Act as a key point of contact for finance and business stakeholders on payout related matters, providing timely clarification and resolution.
- Contribute to system enhancement initiatives by translating operational needs into user requirements and supporting testing activities prior to implementation.
- Continuously review existing processes to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention where possible.
- Maintain clear and up to date process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards.
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, disbursement, or payment processing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or basic coding skills will be advantageous..
- Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to manage timelines and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
