Position Summary

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth and expanding market presence. You will develop new sales channels across industries, customers, and regions, while also growing business opportunities within existing accounts.

This role requires a balance of strategic planning, hands-on business development, and strong leadership to ensure profitable outcomes and long-term customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and execute sales growth strategies aligned with the company’s business plan. Establish annual sales targets and provide monthly and quarterly updates to ensure pipeline health and achievement of goals.
  • Lead all sales and business development activities across NPI Group, ensuring maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
  • Own the business development process, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities to consistently meet targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new customers through research, prospecting, and networking. Map customer needs against product strengths to generate new account opportunities.
  • Measure current sales within existing accounts and implement action plans to increase revenue. Develop new projects and initiatives to expand business with established customers.
  • Arrange and lead business meetings with prospective clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to the sales team. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and help team members identify opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Business Management/ Engineering or related discipline
  • Proficiency in the use of Materials Management software or other related systems.
  • Large key account and relationship management including global account
  • Gather related Business Intelligence & analysis and turn into winning strategies
  • Strong industry knowledge in the related segment as assigned
  • Must be able to influence senior management through well formulated business presentations
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and e-mail skills required
  • Experience in developing business analytics team and turn business intelligence into useful info for business
