Maintenance Technician (Class 3 Licence Needed)

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance, repair, and deployment of cleaning equipment. This role involves field service support as well as robotic configuration and mapping, ensuring smooth daily operations with minimal equipment downtime.

Work schedule: 5-day work week

• Perform on-site maintenance, servicing, and repair of cleaning equipment (e.g., scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers).
• Liaise with OEM, external vendors and operations team on equipment repair status and maintain service reports.
• Coordinate with operations team on equipment availability, repair needs and maintenance schedule.
• Support on-site deployment of robotic cleaning machines by conducting robotic mapping and configuration to set up cleaning routes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams or clients.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards.
• Monitor and control workshop inventory, spare parts usage and maintenance costs.
• Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, field service, or robotics support roles.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Must have a valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Capable of safely handling heavy equipment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with cleaning machinery is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills and able to work independently.
