Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Manager (Building) - Tampines

What you'll be doing- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Monitor and analyse building performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost savings
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to prolong the life of building assets
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to address facility-related issues and concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility management processes and procedures
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a facilities management or building operations role
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Proficient in project management, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering practical, cost-effective solutions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and colleagues at all levels
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and best practices in the industry
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, facilities management, or building services
