Job Purpose

The Dietitian/Senior Dietitian will be responsible for providing a holistic, evidence-based nutrition and dietetics services for our patients and their caregivers. You should possess passion in promoting health for our patients and the wider community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provides a comprehensive nutrition assessment, nutrition support, counselling and education in collaboration with the patient and carer, within a multi-disciplinary team
Adopts an evidence-based approach to practice by utilizing the latest scientific evidence including the use of critical thinking and clinical reasoning
Recognizes the multi-factorial and inter-connected health and social determinants influencing nutrition and health.
Support AH as an Integrated General Hospital (IGH) and it signature programmes
Support the HealthierSG vision for preventive health and for chronic disease management
Empowers individuals, groups and the broader community to improve health and reduce the risk of chronic diseases through holistic, healthy lifestyle programs
Formulate, implements and evaluates community health programs in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and key stakeholders in the community

Job Specification/Requirements

Bachelor of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics)
Completed clinical dietetic internship in an approved institution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate with working with people and the community
Excellent team player
Ability to prepare basic, healthy meals
For the Senior Dietitian position, the candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience.
