Job Description

Responsibilities:

You will maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek out opportunities for enhancements to quality, productivity and/or patient safety care.

Assist in prescription processing/supplying of medicines to outpatients, inpatient and other departments, e.g.: Laboratory, Radiology and wards
Pack oral and topical medications
Collect prescription charges for outpatients
Assist Pharmacist in store management
Assist in compiling statistics for reports and survey
Involve in Quality Improvement or Patient Safety Project

Requirements:

Pharmacy Assistant : N/O/A Levels (min.)
Pharmacy Technician :
Diploma in Pharmaceautical Science / Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceautical Science)
WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support) or equivalent
Preferably with experience in clinic or hospital setting
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
