Business Development Manager
A Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships and driving revenue growth.
The BDM is to lead the business development team: recruit, train, set key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead the team to achieve business goals.
The BDM is also responsible for market development: conduct market research, develop strategies, activities and promotional plans to increase user numbers and transaction volume.
As part of the job, the BDM is also in charge of providing market insights and suggestions to enhance platform competitiveness.
In terms of partnership management, the BDM shall expand and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), communities, investment banks (IBs), and financial partners.
For VIP Services, the BDM shall maintain relationships with high-net-worth/ultra-high-net-worth clients and improve high-net-worth client retention rates.
The BDM shall be responsible for Budget Management and Reporting: plan and optimize business development/marketing costs, and report on growth regularly. He or she shall also be responsible for Budget Risk Management: monitor the uses of multiple accounts and potential fraudulent activities and ensure compliance in business expansion and operations.
