Project Manager (Government project / Agile) - Toa Payoh

We are looking for IT Project Manager to lead government ICT projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery, meeting business needs and IT governance, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-6.00pm)
  • Working Location: Singapore (Hybrid arrangement)
  • Salary Package: Up to $8800 (basic) + AWS
  • Job Type: 1 year Contract (renewable)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Full Project Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end management of business technology projects, from concept and planning to implementation and completion, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Prepare and review comprehensive project plans that outline deliverables, timelines, resources, and milestones. Ensure the project aligns with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Tender Evaluation & Procurement: Develop and review project specifications, manage tender processes, evaluate proposals, and participate in procurement decisions to ensure cost-effective and quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, maintaining clear communication on project progress, changes, and risks. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
  • Budget & Schedule Oversight: Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed budget and timeline, managing resources and adjusting plans as necessary to meet project objectives without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the project team, including assigning tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring that team members are aligned with project goals and deadlines. Provide leadership and support to the team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide detailed, regular updates to management and program managers on project status, including progress reports, risk assessments, budgetary updates, and proposed mitigation strategies. Ensure that all issues are tracked and followed up on promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the agreed quality standards and project objectives, conducting regular reviews and assessments throughout the project lifecycl

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong record of delivering complex projects and agile experiences.
  • Expertise in project planning, stakeholder management, procurement, risk management, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in working in government project is an added advantage
