As a Nurse Manager (Urgent Care Centre), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Clinical Governance & Leadership: Provide robust oversight in a high-acuity environment, ensuring all nursing interventions are evidence-based and aligned with infection control and emergency response standards.
• Quality & Safety Management: Champion medication safety protocols, lead comprehensive audits, and manage clinical incident reporting/root cause analysis to mitigate operational risks.
• People & Talent Development: Mentor and coach a diverse nursing team, driving competency assessments, career progression, and continuous on-the-job training.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary nursing liaison to foster seamless communication between medical staff, allied health professionals, and executive management.
• Resource & Financial Stewardship: Oversee departmental budgeting, optimize resource allocation, and ensure precise clinical documentation to support revenue integrity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing; post-graduate certifications in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or Healthcare Management will be advantageous
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years spent in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Prior experience in an Emergency Department, Trauma Unit, or Urgent Care setting is strongly preferred.
