Supply Chain Program Manager

Main Task

You are responsible for ensuring that the Bill of Materials (BOM) is cost-effective, risk-resilient, and fully prepared to meet manufacturing demand without interruption.

1. NPI Strategy & Product Launch

• Design for Supply Chain: Partner with Engineering during the design phase to influence component selection based on lead time, cost, and lifecycle stability.
• Prototyping Support: Secure materials for Alpha and Beta builds, managing "Quick Turn" requirements to meet aggressive R&D schedules.
• Mass Production Ramp: Lead the "Release to Production" (RTP) process, ensuring all suppliers are qualified and capacity is scaled for volume manufacturing

1. BOM Risk Management & Readiness

• Risk Mitigation: Conduct deep-dive BOM Risk Assessments to identify single-source or long-lead items (e.g., specialized mass flow controllers, UHP regulators).
• Collaborate R&D on VAVE, focus on qualifying "vertical content"—focusing on Fluid Control components that we can reduce the % of BOM content cost lower and overall lead-times.
• Material Readiness: Own the "Clear-to-Build" (CTB) process. Lead weekly Material Readiness Reviews to ensure 100% part availability for scheduled production runs.

1. Inventory & Logistics Optimization

• VMI & Consignment: Drive Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Consignment programs with the VMI Inventory Management team to shift inventory liability and improve response times to demand fluctuations.
• Inventory Liability Analysis: Perform regular Excess and Zero-demand (E&Z) analysis. Track inventory turns and aging stock to ensure lean operations.
• Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the VMI Logistics Team to resolve receiving discrepancies (RVNs) and optimize international shipping lanes (Singapore-Malaysia-Global) to reduce freight spend.

1. Raw & Standard Cost BOM & Change Management

• MCOGS Tracking: Manage the Material Cost of Goods Sold (MCOGS). Drive cost-reduction roadmaps through negotiation and value engineering.
• To manage unfavourable Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and inventory liabilities, through account management teams with our customers for claims and inventory liability, End-of-Life & Obsolescence customer agreements.
• ECO Management: Control the material impact of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Manage "Phase-in/Phase-out" strategies to minimize scrap and obsolescence costs.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 7+ years of materials management experience in the Semiconductor Equipment or UHP Gas Systems industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics/ MRP systems. Expert level in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Modelling) or Power BI.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with UHP components (Valves, MFCs, Transducers) and SEMI standards is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage global supplier relationships under high-pressure timelines.
