Financial Data Analyst (Media Incentives / US Tech MNC/ 7.2k)

• We are partnering with our client, a global technology organization, to hire a Financial Data Analyst (FP&A / Media Incentives) based in Singapore.
• This role sits within the FP&A function and focuses on managing and optimizing media incentive programs across APAC. You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing how large advertising incentive budgets are allocated, utilized, and performing against business objectives.
• The position is highly data-driven, with a strong emphasis on SQL, data analysis, and dashboard automation, combined with financial tracking and business partnering responsibilities. You will work closely with Product GTM teams, commercial stakeholders, and finance partners to deliver insights, improve processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
• This role requires strong project management capability, as you will manage multiple workstreams related to incentive tracking, reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• This role will start off as a 6-months contract (renewable); candidates who are immediately available or able to start within short notice will be preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, data analytics, or finance operations roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL (critical requirement) for data extraction and analysis
• Experience in dashboarding and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret large datasets
• Experience with financial systems or data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including commercial, GTM, and finance teams
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience in project management or process improvement initiatives
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capability
• Experience in tech, media, or agency environments is advantageous

The Job

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will support the tracking, analysis, and optimization of media incentive investments, ensuring effective utilization of budgets and delivering data-driven insights.

• Track and monitor incentive budget allocation, utilization, and effectiveness across APAC
• Analyze performance of incentive deals and identify opportunities to improve ROI
• Ensure accurate tracking of spend against financial and commercial objectives

• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting solutions
• Enhance data infrastructure to improve scalability and efficiency

• Support financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting within FP&A
• Develop models to monitor spend performance and budget utilization
• Identify financial risks and provide recommendations

• Partner with Product GTM, commercial teams, and finance stakeholders
• Communicate insights and recommendations to support decision-making
• Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights

• Manage multiple workstreams related to incentive tracking and reporting
• Drive process optimization and automation initiatives
• Maintain documentation, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution
