Quality Assurance Coordinator (QC / QA / Lab)

Responsibilities:

• Schedule blending by production team based on delivery demand (customer orders) and inventory level
• Issue document batch cards and warehouse release form for production blending, and verify and monitor batch production processes to ensure compliance with specifications
• Conduct laboratory testing on raw materials, in process samples and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Analyse samples and solutions for testing, maintaining consistency and accuracy in testing procedures
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and accurate results
• Assist in identifying out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, contribute to investigations into product quality deviations
• Work closely with production team to resolve quality-related issues
• Ensure proper housekeeping of the lab and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate lab records, test reports and compliance documents, ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations and internal quality systems
• Support the development and implementation of testing plans for products and materials in alignment with quality assurance objectives
• Support the development and revision of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QC/QA or laboratory environment, preferably within the chemical industry
• Hands-on experience in chemical analysis and laboratory testing techniques
• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
• Knowledge of GMP and relevant regulatory compliance standards
• Familiar with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards)
• Understanding of safety practices and sustainability protocols in a laboratory or plant environment
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in work
• Good time management and communication skills
• A proactive team player with the ability to work collaboratively
