Maintenance Technician, Cargo
Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Coordinate servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities to ensure minimum downtime
▪ Plan and organize Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program
▪ Responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty
▪ Coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level, to ensure minimum disruption to operations
▪ Ensure quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities. If unable, to organize recovery to workshop to repair, rectify and make good, and put back into operation with minimum delays and downtime.
▪ Verify the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and time keeping
▪ Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure safe working environment
▪ Verify and ensure workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition
▪ Verify parts for replacement are beyond economic repair (BER) and cannot be reconditioned
▪ Any other duties as assigned
▪ Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
▪ Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
Requirements
▪ Minimum Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance
▪ Experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and facilities will be an added advantage
▪ Must possess minimum LTA class 3 driving license
